What happens when a man who has built his life on control starts to crack?
A working-class British man, son of immigrants, has learnt how to behave. Be useful. Stay calm. Make things work. Keep the surface still.
In the corporate office he knows how to survive: meet the deadline, manage the pressure, never become the problem, be the solution. But outside work, the same rules are starting to fail him.
As career, family and love begin to strain, the belief that has protected him for years - control is safety - starts to fracture. Funny, tense and quietly moving, Deep, Deep Waters is an intimate solo play about masculinity, class, silence and the emotional cost of becoming the kind of person the world rewards.
