The Playground Theatre is located on in the middle of Latimer Road, in the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, W10.

 

 It is accessible by all forms of transport. Please allow plenty of time for your journey as latecomers cannot always be admitted.

Please be aware that the Latimer Road Tube is not in Latimer Road. If you are making your journey from Latimer Road Tube station after sunset, we advice to walk to Oxford Gardens and to not take the back route underneath the Westway.

​Can I bring my dog into the café?
Yes, absolutely! The Playground Theatre is a dog-friendly venue.

Can I film or take photos?
Filming and photography are not permitted inside the theatre. Repeated violations may result in removal from the venue. We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain a respectful environment for performers and audiences alike.

What happens if someone becomes unwell during a performance?
If an audience member becomes unwell during a performance, please notify a member of our Front of House team immediately. They will contact our designated First Aid Contact who will assist the individual and guide them out of the auditorium if needed. The performance will continue unless the situation requires a pause, as determined by the Stage Manager & Duty Manager. Please remain calm — your safety is always our top priority.

Can I take my drink into the theatre?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your drink into the theatre. Queens Cafe bar staff will provide drinks before the performance. Glass bottles are also permitted. Please return all glasswear and bottles at the end of the evening — thank you!

Where can I park near the theatre?
Parking is free in the surrounding area from 6:30pm Monday to Friday, and from 1:30pm on Saturdays. Parking is not permitted in the theatre driveway unless agreed with TPT staff in advance.

Who qualifies for a Concession ticket?
Concession tickets are available to students, individuals under 30, those who are unemployed, and anyone aged 60 or over.
