The Playground Theatre Presents
WVAC: She's Got Balls
12 March - 7:00pm
Writer and Actor: Emily Corcoran

In a world that prides itself on progress and parity, She’s Got Balls asks an uncomfortable question:
Has gender inequality truly been consigned to the past, or has it simply learned to disguise itself?
This sharp, playful series of sketches interrogates everyday assumptions about power, entitlement and expectation, drawing on real experiences from domestic life, the workplace and the family home. What unfolds is not a manifesto but a succession of recognisable moments in which imbalance reveals itself through humour, frustration and uneasy laughter.
Blending true stories with a carefully engineered twist, the play invites the audience to re-examine what is often overlooked or dismissed as anecdotal. Beneath its comic surface, She’s Got Balls exposes how difference in treatment persists, subtle, systemic and often normalised, even within contemporary Western society.
Written and produced by Emily Corcoran, an established actress, writer and producer for film and television, the play marks her first foray into theatre, bringing a fresh voice and a precise eye for lived experience to the stage.
