We are transported forward and back through time to the different eras – with Wendy Morgan and Julian Littman telling Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham’s unique tale, singing and playing some of their iconic songs, highlighting and illustrating the roller coaster of their lives and their love story.

 

Directed by Kevin McNally, The Ballad of Buckingham Nicks intertwines the lives of two iconic musicians, exploring the passion, creativity and challenges that shaped their legendary journey; an emotional rollercoaster through music and memories.

Kevin McNally:

During the 1980s and 1990s McNally established himself as a reputable and versatile actor on both the British and American TV. He played a broad variety of leading and supporting characters ranging from the Soviet politician Kirov in Stalin (1992) to homicide detective Jack Taylor in Chiller (1995), and from an insecure son, Alan Hook, in TV series Dad (1997) to a convicted murderer James Hopkin in Bloodlines (2005). His portrayal of Frank Worsley in Shackleton (2002) as well as the role of Harry Woolf in Life on Mars (2006) are among his best known works for television. In 1977 McNally made his big screen debut as HMS Ranger Crewman in the James Bond adventure The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). After having played bit parts in more than twenty feature films, McNally shot to international fame as pirate Joshamee Gibbs, his best known film role, in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) and the sequel Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (2006). He returned in the role Joshamee Gibbs in the third installment of the ‘Pirates’ franchise Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (2007).


WENDY MORGAN

 (Stevie Nicks)

 

Wendy’s career has seen her as Actor/Singer/Songwriter/Filmmaker/Writer/Director. Born and raised in Hertfordshire with a half Italian father and recently discovered she is granddaughter to the late Silvio Corio, partner of Sylvia Pankhurst and was delightfully re united with her cousin Helen Pankhurst. Wendy started out with The Bubble Theatre devising shows and singing and playing Tenor Sax in The Bubble Band followed by the movie Yanks with Richard Gere, directed by John Schlesinger and a Standard Award for Most Promising Newcomer: The Mirror Crackd with Elizabeth Taylor, 84 Charing X Road with Anthony Hopkins, Mrs Lowry and Son with Vanessa Redgrave and Timothy Spall. The National Theatre/Peter Hall Company Coriolanus, Martine (Olivier/Standard Nominations Best Actress); Yonadab; Streetcar Named Desire with Glenn Close; Phedre with Helen Mirren; Yonadab with Alan Bates. Band life has been with The Starlettes (1960s girl band); The Amy Winehouse Experience and Dave Finnegan’s The Commitments touring the UK and Europe.  She also writes music to raise awareness for animals in captivity. JULIAN LITTMAN

 (Lindsey Buckingham)

 

Julian’s career spans many aspects of the world of music and drama. Born in difficult circumstances then adopted by wonderful parents he was brought up in a loving and creatively encouraging environment. Drama school at sixteen years old was followed by schools theatre, children’s television (Two years on “Rainbow”) and then numerous television appearances, The Sweeney, Bergerac, The Bill and BBC dramas such as “Baal” alongside David Bowie. He has been in ten feature films including playing Madonna’s Brother in “Evita.” and Al Capone in “Al’s Lads.” He’s also involved in the world music playing and/or writing with Steeleye Span, Gerry Rafferty, Sheena Easton, Dexy’s, and countless others and has composed music for film and T.V.He played “Pop” in “We Will Rock You” and is Musical Director for many shows, currently the national tour of “Return To The Forbidden Planet.
