Mercy House

So when Mercy House, a Christian run, all male rehab appears, he dives right in, unaware of sharks. Laddish locations, 

intimacy disorders and toxic masculinity prove rough water, as Callum hoped this flotilla would finally provide safety. 

Away from the complex trauma of chemsex addiction.

Guy Masterson - Theatre Tours International presents the first ever staged reading of PLAY ON WORDS  - A SEMANTIC COMEDY by Paul Lowe


Starring Preeya Kalidas (Bend It Like Beckham, Bombay Dreams and EastEnders) and Ben Keenan (EastEnders, Doctors & The Pyjama Diaries)

A failing, flailing playwright at the end of his tether, visits a library to find the anecdote to his writer’s block, but finds a strict librarian instead.... Will their mutual lexiconic fascination lead to semantic romance?


Developed during Covid in 2020, Paul has been working with Olivier Award winning West End & Broadway Director and Dramaturg, Guy Masterson to develop this idea for the stage. This will be its first time in front of an audience.

Leanne loves Steve. Rachel wants to kill him. Leanne is falling in love with Christie. Steve assaulted Leanne, maybe? Kilter examined the grey areas in non-verbal consent, asking: can we forgive someone who doesn't know they hurt us? Do we have to?
