Janie Dee presents
Janie Dee's Beautiful World Cabaret
29 SEPTEMBER | 4 PM
Created, Directed and Performed by Oliver Award Winner Janie Dee
Performers: Sophie Priolo & Josephine Ortiz Lewis
Live musicians: Sarah Harrison (Violin) & Igor Outkine (Accordion)
All the world’s a stage, let’s protect it.
Multi Olivier Award-winning West End star Janie Dee (National Theatre’s The Motive and the Cue and Follies; Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends) celebrates our beautiful world, through song and spoken word.
‘Dee achieves a truly inspiring cabaret of monologues and songs, including hits from Follies, Sunday in the Park with George, and rounding it all off with a rousing rendition of A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square which promises to not leave a dry eye in the house.’Â
A range of music from artists and composers including Sondheim, Sting, Peggy Lee, and Vivaldi, this playful, radical, informative, and ultimately hopeful cabaret was a smash hit at the Edinburgh Fringe 2024.
